Job Description
This role provides strategic guidance to users defining and designing processes that meet customer requirements. Key responsibilities include documenting existing business processes, identifying inefficiencies, and recommending SAP system improvements. This role also involves communicating with headquarters on implementation management and optimizing processes within the SAP Logistics module.
- Support of users at all North American sites
- Identification and training on technical SAP MM module requirements
- On-call support for troubleshooting and system issue resolution
- Monitoring and reporting performance against operating standards
The consultant must work closely with end users, provide necessary training, and build strong relationships while offering ongoing support. Occasional business travel and EST 9-to-6 support are required.
Qualifications
Required: Minimum 4 years experience as a functional or business SAP consultant, hands-on configuration in ECC 6 or HANA, experience with EDI processing, SAP integrations (IDOC, RFC), ABAP debugging skills, and bilingual in English and Korean. Ability to support multiple sites in North America and travel internationally.
Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field, experience with standard project management tools, participation in full-lifecycle SAP implementations, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to challenge established practices.
