Job Description

The Research Analyst (Auto, Steel, Energy) - Bilingual Korean/English is responsible for conducting market and industry research with a focus on steel, auto, energy and related sectors.

  • Conduct research on steel and related industry companies.
  • Analyze data to understand industry developments.
  • Maintain databases on supply, consumption, pricing, and drivers.
  • Assist in M&A evaluation and diversification strategies.
  • Prepare industry reports and support corporate presentations.
  • Respond to ad hoc requests from managers and headquarters.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Engineering, or related field.
  • Excellent business communication skills in Korean and English.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel and PowerPoint).
  • Prior experience in research, M&A, or finance is a plus.
  • Willingness to travel (10-20 business days per year).
