Job Description

Role: GCP Data Architect

  • Configure GCP for a complex data migration from AWS.
  • Lead data movement activities.
  • Oversee all stages of data solution lifecycle: analysis, data modeling, ETL, reporting, and analytics.
  • Lead source to target mapping and define interface process and standards.
  • Facilitate solution JAD sessions and address issues.
  • Develop proactive monitoring and alert mechanisms for data issues.
  • Assist project leadership as part of the PMO team.
  • Collaborate with global team to meet day-to-day deliverables.
  • Identify risks and opportunities in the data environment.
  • Guide and mentor junior team members.

Qualifications

  • Experience with GCP services: Compute Engine, App Engine, Kubernetes Engine, Cloud Storage, BigQuery, and Dataflow.
  • Experience with infrastructure as code tools such as Terraform or Cloud Deployment Manager.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automation tools like Jenkins, GitLab, or CircleCI.
  • Proven ability to design and implement GCP solutions following best practices.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in GCP solution design and implementation.
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • GCP certification is a plus.

$110K - $130K per year
