Job Overview
Woodview Mental Health & Autism Services is seeking a dedicated Teacher for Individuals with Autism to join our team. This role is crucial in supporting the development and independence of children and individuals with intellectual and learning disabilities.

College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
Experience
1 to less than 7 months of relevant experience is required.
Work Arrangement
This is an on-site position. Work must be completed at the physical location. There is no option to work remotely.

Responsibilities
- Instruct in the use of rehabilitative techniques, prosthetic devices, and wheelchairs.
- Instruct students in the formation and development of sounds for speech using hearing aids and other devices.
- Assist students to develop life skills.
- Collaborate with specialists to develop programs for clients' special needs.
- Develop individualized education and intervention plans based on the special needs of clients to facilitate their readaptation and independence objectives.
