Food Runner at Wood Ranch
Wood Ranch is seeking a dynamic and guest-focused Food Runner to join our team in Burbank, CA. As a Food Runner, you will play a crucial role in ensuring a seamless and exceptional dining experience for our guests.
Key Responsibilities:
- Engage guests promptly and warmly, anticipating and fulfilling their needs.
- Ensure all food and service meet Wood Ranch's high standards.
- Communicate with guests to create a positive and lasting impression.
- Maintain and promote safety and cleanliness in the dining area.
- Participate in team efforts such as pre-bussing and running food, offering assistance to teammates.
- Efficiently carry hot and cold plates to guests, and serve trays with multiple drinks.
- Serve alcohol to guests in compliance with local, state, and federal laws.
- Prepare beverages, desserts, and soups as needed.
- Perform light duties such as stocking stations and completing side work.
- Communicate openly with management regarding any work-related concerns.
- Process payments accurately, including making change for cash transactions.
Requirements & Working Conditions:
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Minimum of one (1) year of experience as a server assistant or similar role.
- Availability to work approximately 5 shifts per week is preferred.
- Must be fluent in English.
- Outgoing, charismatic, proactive, approachable, guest-centric, and positive attitude.
- Possession of a Food Handler’s Card.
- Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- Basic math proficiency.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Capacity to work effectively within a team.
- Strong problem-solving, adaptability, and multitasking abilities.
- Ability to remain on your feet and alert for extended periods.
- Ability to lift up to 35 lbs. as needed.
- Requires continuous use of hands and arms, and continuous bending, reaching, and twisting.
