Role Overview

Rodizio Grill, a prominent full-service restaurant chain with both corporate and franchise locations, is seeking a Field Support Manager. We are dedicated to delivering outstanding dining experiences and operational excellence across our network.

Job Summary

The Field Support Manager will be responsible for overseeing and supporting restaurant General Managers in executing daily operations across corporate and franchise-owned restaurants within their designated region. This critical role ensures all locations consistently meet the company's high standards for quality, service, and profitability. The ideal candidate will bring extensive restaurant management experience, strong leadership capabilities, and a proven history of driving operational success.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operational Oversight: Ensure all restaurants within the region adhere strictly to company standards and policies through regular on-site visits and virtual inspections.
  • Performance Management: Monitor, analyze, and report on key restaurant performance metrics, including sales figures, customer satisfaction ratings, and overall operational efficiency.
  • Training and Development: Deliver ongoing training, coaching, and support to restaurant managers to enhance their performance, develop their teams, and build leadership benches.
  • Compliance: Guarantee that all locations fully comply with health, safety, and labor regulations and standards.
  • Franchise Relations: Provide comprehensive support to franchisees, helping them achieve their business objectives while consistently maintaining brand standards.
  • Strategic Planning: Develop and implement effective strategies designed to improve operational efficiency and maximize profitability across the assigned region.

Requirements

  • Travel Requirements: The Field Support Manager is required to visit each restaurant within their region 3–6 times per year, depending on performance, to ensure operational standards are met and to provide support to the restaurant managers. It is estimated that this role should be 70% in field-related duties and 30% in office-related tasks.
  • Travel Expenses: All travel-related expenses, including transportation, accommodation, and meals, will be covered by the company in accordance with our travel policy.

Reporting Structure

This role reports directly to the Vice President of Operations, ensuring alignment with broader operational goals and strategies.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

  • Sales Growth: Achieve targeted sales growth objectives for the entire region.
  • Guest Experience: Maintain consistently high customer satisfaction scores, measured through online feedback platforms and internal surveys.
  • Operational Excellence: Continuously improve key operational metrics such as dessert sales, drink sales, and guests per labor hour.
  • Employee Retention: Foster a positive and supportive work environment to achieve low employee turnover rates.
  • Compliance: Ensure 100% compliance with all health, safety, and labor regulations across all locations.
  • Profitability: Meet or exceed established targets for cost of labor and cost of sales (COS) within the region.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Hospitality Management, or a related field (desired but not required).
  • Fluency in English is required; proficiency in Portuguese and/or Spanish is desired but not required.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in restaurant management, with a strong preference for multi-unit management experience.
  • Demonstrated strong leadership and exceptional interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities to address complex operational challenges.
  • Ability to travel frequently and extensively within the assigned region.

Benefits

Wonder Franchises offers a competitive cash compensation package and comprehensive health benefits. The base salary for this role ranges from $75,000 to $90,000 per year.
