The Opportunity

As a Communications Manager, you will be a central member of the Marketing & Communications team, crafted to drive the strategic narrative and written communications for Women's College Hospital Foundation (WCHF). In this role, you will create donor proposals, cases for support, impact reports, event communications, public campaigns, CEO communications, and internal organizational documents.

Core Deliverables

  • Develop and manage donor, public, and internal communications materials.
  • Project manage communications materials from inception to final output.
  • Manage one direct report and work cross-functionally with medical, administrative, and leadership teams.
  • Advise on enhancing messaging and story strategy to amplify WCHF’s voice.
  • Ensure clarity, timely delivery, and adherence to quality standards.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Post-secondary education in a related field or equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum 8-10 years experience in communications, preferably in healthcare or foundation settings.
  • Proven experience in writing donor proposals, cases for support, and impact reports.
  • Ability to articulate complex ideas in an accessible and compelling manner.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to meet deadlines under pressure.

Additional Information

This is a Regular Full-Time Replacement position with a salary range of $82,500 - $90,000 and eligibility for merit pay along with comprehensive healthcare benefits, including Healthcare Ontario Pension Plan enrollment. The role is hybrid, requiring presence in the office a minimum of 3 days per week.
