Position Summary

As a Software Test Automation Engineer JavaScript BDD at Wolters Kluwer, you will work within a product development team that builds highly configurable software utilizing agile methodologies. You will participate in the entire product life cycle, collaborating with development engineers to design and implement strategies and tools for efficient automated testing.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and automate functional tests for the product.
  • Contribute to test case identification and documentation.
  • Update automated tests in line with application changes.
  • Extend and enhance automation frameworks for UI, API, integration, and performance testing.
  • Perform manual and exploratory testing and report anomalies.
  • Develop and maintain testing tools and infrastructure.
  • Assist in validating existing software against business requirements.

Educational & Experience Requirements

Bachelor’s in Engineering or equivalent experience. Minimum 3+ years of automation testing experience using JavaScript with frameworks like Quest, Jest, and TestCafe.

Must Have

  • Strong object-oriented programming and debugging skills.
  • Proficiency in API automation, integration, and UI testing.
  • Experience with SQL and database technologies.
  • Ability to write reusable scripts and diagnose issues.
  • Self-motivation and initiative to grow skills and knowledge.

Nice to Have

  • Familiarity with Azure DevOps, Selenium Webdriver, and CI processes.
  • Understanding of the software build and delivery process.
  • Experience in Agile Software Development.

Additional Information
