About the Role - Senior Software Test Automation Engineer
We are seeking a Senior Software Test Automation Engineer with a strong foundation in Java and a keen eye for automation and content validation. In this advanced role, you will lead efforts to ensure the reliability, accuracy, and performance of our systems by developing robust testing tools and frameworks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop automated testing tools and frameworks.
- Integrate automated validation into CI/CD pipelines.
- Create and maintain test cases using tools like Cucumber.
- Monitor system environments using Grafana and AWS CloudWatch.
- Investigate root causes and coordinate with developers for resolution.
- Support ticket triage, QA sign-off, release documentation, and smoke testing.
Collaboration & Onboarding: Work closely with developers and product teams, mentor junior engineers, and drive continuous improvement in testing methodologies.
Additional Skills & Competencies:
- Proficiency in Java and automated testing frameworks.
- Experience with CI/CD tools and understanding of Elasticsearch for log analysis.
- Exposure to GraphQL, AWS services, and monitoring tools like Kibana and Grafana.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills.
