Position Summary
The Sales Engineer – Custom Industrial Oven Systems bridges engineering and customer needs. This role involves identifying new business opportunities, developing technical proposals, and delivering application-specific solutions for industrial clients. Ideal candidates combine strong communication with a background in engineering, manufacturing, or industrial equipment.
Key Responsibilities
- Sales & Business Development: Identify, qualify, and develop relationships with industrial customers through discovery calls, site visits, and application assessments.
- Technical Proposal Development: Collaborate with engineering teams to prepare quotes, system layouts, and detailed RFQ responses.
- Customer Relationship Management: Serve as the primary contact from initial outreach to project handoff, educating clients on gas catalytic technology.
- Travel & Industry Engagement: Travel up to 60% for customer meetings, plant walkthroughs, and attend trade shows like FABTECH.

Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Technology, or related field required. 2–5 years of experience in industrial sales, applications engineering, or technical account management; experience with custom machinery or industrial automation equipment preferred. Candidates should have excellent communication, strong problem-solving, and ability to read technical drawings and system layouts. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM systems is essential, SAP experience is a plus. Familiarity with infrared or gas catalytic heating technologies and industrial standards is valued.
