Role Overview

The Information Security Analyst at Wittington is responsible for protecting the organization’s information assets. The role focuses on security monitoring, risk management, incident response, and promoting security awareness across the company.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Monitor, review, and respond to alerts from security platforms and tools.
  • Detect and prioritize threats and vulnerabilities for remediation.
  • Develop and update policies, standards, and security documentation.
  • Assist with phishing campaigns, security awareness training, and end-user reporting.
  • Conduct risk assessments and support control remediation activities.
  • Engage with vendors and IT partners to assess third-party risks.
  • Support cybersecurity incident response and maintenance of incident playbooks.
  • Participate in IT-related projects and overall Information Security improvement plans.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in Cybersecurity.
  • Experience in Security Operations and incident resolution.
  • Knowledge in drafting Cyber Incident Response Plans and playbooks.
  • Understanding of computer systems, networking, and SIEM setups.
  • Experience with mobile policy setup using Intune.
  • Experience with security assessments and, optionally, penetration testing.
  • Bachelor’s degree in IT, Cybersecurity, Computer Science or related field.
  • Relevant certifications such as CompTIA Security+, CISSP, and others.
