Job Summary
Wisers Information Limited is seeking a visionary Solution Architect to guide multiple delivery teams, overseeing the entire software lifecycle from conception to deployment. This role involves strategically guiding product development, optimizing team KPIs, and transforming complex business objectives into robust technical solutions. You will manage cross-border teams in Hong Kong, Mainland China, and overseas, requiring a blend of strong technical expertise and exceptional leadership.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide visionary guidance to multiple delivery teams, ensuring end-to-end software lifecycle delivery.
- Strategically guide product development plans, integrating technology to meet and exceed customer expectations.
- Formulate, monitor, and optimize team KPIs, fostering continuous improvement and professional growth.
- Collaborate closely with Product Development (PD, RD) teams to translate complex business goals into robust technical frameworks and solutions.
- Oversee operations across Hong Kong, Mainland China, and overseas, managing cross-border teams of project managers and developers, with a willingness to travel.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 10 years of software development experience, with a minimum of 5 years in a leadership role managing multidisciplinary software development teams.
- In-depth understanding of programming languages and frameworks including Java, Scala, Python, Spring Framework, Docker, Kubernetes (K8s), and cloud solutions.
- Proficiency in CI/CD pipelines, HTTP API, HTML, JavaScript, and EJB programming skills.
- Skilled in SQL databases (Oracle, MySQL) and NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Elasticsearch, Redis) for data caching and storage.
- Expertise in large-scale data processing technologies such as Apache Spark and Apache Flink.
- Proficiency in messaging and stream processing platforms like Apache Kafka and RabbitMQ.
- Skilled in monitoring and visualization tools such as Grafana and ELK stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana).
- Proven track record in Agile development methodologies and successful management of complex software projects.
- Ability to effectively prioritize customer needs and ensure timely delivery of software project milestones.
- Strong analytical skills, resilience under pressure, and a proactive problem-solving attitude.
- Outstanding people management skills to motivate and lead diverse teams.
- Ability to clearly communicate technical and functional documentation in both English and Chinese.
- (Plus) Knowledge of Natural Language Processing (NLP) is an advantage.
- (Plus) Experience with outsourcing or managing third-party service providers is highly valuable.
