R&D Junior Project Designer

About the Role

The Wisecap Group is seeking a motivated individual to join their Research and Development team, supporting technical design activities and the development of new products/solutions. This role will collaborate on the creation of drawings and projects, contributing to the design, development, and continuous improvement phases of company products.

Key Responsibilities

• Design: Creation and updating of 2D/3D technical drawings and models.
• Product Development: Support in defining technical solutions, procedures, and product design/development.
• Technical Interface: Collaboration with suppliers for co-development, progress monitoring, testing, and prototyping.
• Collaboration: Work with the Group team to analyze and improve components and technical solutions.
• Production Interface: Liaise with production and other company departments to verify technical and industrial feasibility of projects.
• Product Analysis: Quality control of prototypes (functional and dimensional tests).

Requirements

• Technical diploma or degree in mechanical, industrial, engineering, or related fields.
• Good knowledge of main 2D/3D CAD software (preferably SolidWorks or AutoCAD).
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
• Good command of the English language, both written and spoken.
• Basic knowledge of product design and development processes.
• Good proficiency with the Office suite (Excel in particular).
• Preferred: Even brief experience in similar roles in design or R&D. Knowledge of plastic material processing. Familiarity with prototyping or product industrialization.
