The Opportunity
This role is part of the expansion of the LatAm teams with a new São Paulo engineering hub. As a Staff Software Engineer, you will be among the first members of the local team, shaping the local technical culture, processes, and direction while designing high-impact solutions for Brazil customers.
Your Role
You will work on enhancing products for the Brazilian market including:
- Designing, developing, testing, and deploying features tailored for Brazil.
- Optimizing the PIX experience and enhancing business and consumer offerings.
- Integrating with local banks, payment providers, and verification vendors.
- Improving onboarding workflows and KYC/KYB compliance checks.
- Leading technical reviews and mentoring other engineers.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate has a proactive mindset, proven experience as a Staff Engineer, deep technical expertise in back-end development and microservices architecture, and a passion for mentoring. Experience with payments systems, financial integrations and regulatory compliance in Latin America is a plus.
