About the role
About Wise
Wise is a global technology company, building the best way to move and manage the world’s money.
Min fees. Max ease. Full speed.
Whether people and businesses are sending money to another country, spending abroad, or making and receiving international payments, Wise is on a mission to make their lives easier and save them money.
As part of our team, you will be helping us create an entirely new network for the world's money. For everyone, everywhere.
Job Description
More about our mission and what we offer.
Wise has always grown through product-led, self-serve channels. Now we’re building something new: a dedicated sales function within Wise Business to help larger businesses understand and adopt Wise for their global banking needs.
As an Inbound Account Executive, you’ll work inbound leads from multiple sources — inbound sales forms, activation campaigns, events, and partnerships — qualifying prospects, running discovery calls, and guiding businesses through sign-up, KYC, and their first transactions on Wise.
This is a velocity sales role. You’re not chasing enterprise contracts over 12 months. You’re moving quickly, helping businesses that already have local and international banking pain to see the value of Wise and get started.
What you’ll do
- Qualify and manage inbound leads from multiple channels using the APTIM framework (Authority, Product Fit, Timeline, Impact/Pain, Metrics)
- Run discovery and qualification calls with business owners, finance leads, and operations teams
- Build and present savings analyses that clearly demonstrate Wise’s value vs. banks and competitors
- Manage your pipeline in Salesforce — keeping stages, activities, and next steps accurate and up to date
- Guide prospects through sign-up, KYC submission, and first transaction activation
- Monitor customer activation using internal tools and follow up to ensure businesses ramp onto the platform
Qualifications
What we’re looking for:
- 1–2 years of professional experience, ideally in a sales, business development, or commercial role. If you have more, that’s great too.
- Strong communication skills — you can hold a conversation, ask the right questions, and build rapport quickly
- Comfort with CRM tools (Salesforce experience is a plus, but not essential)
- A structured, organised approach to managing your day and your pipeline
- Curiosity about how businesses move money internationally and a genuine interest in fintech
Nice To Have
- Experience in B2B SaaS, payments, fintech, or financial services
- Familiarity with consultative or solution-based selling
Additional Information
What success looks like
- In your first 90 days, you’ll complete a structured onboarding programme covering Wise’s products, sales process, tools, and competitive landscape. By month three, you should be independently running qualification calls and managing a live pipeline.
- Within six months, you’ll be consistently hitting your targets and actively contributing to how the team operates.
Why Wise
- Mission-driven: You’re helping businesses save real money on international payments — not selling something they don’t need
- Ground-floor opportunity: This sales team is being built from scratch. Your input will directly shape how it works
- Transparent culture: Wise is known for radical transparency, from pricing to how the company is run
- Global impact: Wise serves millions of customers across 160+ countries and 40+ currencies
- Competitive package: Salary, RSUs, and benefits aligned with Wise’s compensation philosophy
For everyone, everywhere. We're people building money without borders — without judgement or prejudice, too. We believe teams are strongest when they are diverse, equitable and inclusive.
We're proud to have a truly international team, and we celebrate our differences.
Inclusive teams help us live our values and make sure every Wiser feels respected, empowered to contribute towards our mission and able to progress in their careers.
