Job Overview

The FinCrime Process Improvement Project Manager role, based in Budapest, is key to discovering, analyzing, and improving processes within our FinCrime operations. You will lead in-depth analyses, develop complex solutions, and partner cross-functionally to drive significant improvements in process efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct detailed process inefficiency and bottleneck analyses.
  • Develop complex solutions aligned with Wise's goals.
  • Perform root cause analyses to pinpoint operational challenges.
  • Create business cases for high-impact improvement opportunities.
  • Utilize structured problem-solving methodologies for workflow enhancements.
  • Manage and drive adoption of improvement projects.
  • Evaluate post-implementation impact of changes.
  • Develop subject matter expertise in relevant operational areas.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to align priorities.
  • Utilize analytical tools for performance monitoring and insights.

Qualifications & Experience

Minimum 5 years experience in process engineering/design, process improvement, business operations or related field. Proven track record leading Agile cross-functional projects. Expertise in problem-solving methodologies (Design Thinking, Theory of Constraints, A3 Problem Solving, or Lean Six Sigma) is highly valued. Proficiency in visual storytelling techniques and familiarity with FinCrime or KYC, especially in regulated environments, is a strong plus. Experience with operational tools such as Zendesk, Twilio, Looker, or Superset is also advantageous.
