Your Mission
As the Compliance Manager - Monitoring and Testing at Wise, you will ensure regulatory adherence through a robust second-line monitoring and testing program. You will design control testing plans, manage audits and examinations, develop compliance frameworks, and build trust by delivering meaningful control testing insights.
- Design and evaluate control testing plans for regulatory rules.
- Lead audit and examination preparations for regulatory bodies.
- Develop and maintain Wise's regulatory compliance framework.
- Collaborate across teams to remediate compliance issues and educate on US and CA regulations.
- Execute quarterly risk assessments and support committee reporting.
About You
You have monitoring and testing experience in a financial regulation environment, with exposure to compliance, risk and controls, or legal advisory roles. You understand financial crime regulations and are skilled in communicating with product and engineering teams. Strong presentation, data analysis, and problem solving skills are essential, as is the ability to work in a fast-growing environment with international teams. Travel is expected and legal work authorization in the U.S. is required.
Extra Skills
Experience with tools like Excel, Confluence, Jira, and GRC platforms is a plus, along with exposure to global regulatory environments.
