Role Overview

The Business Development Manager Eastern Europe will drive growth for Wise Platform by building, maintaining, and closing partnerships with banks across Central and Eastern Europe. Collaborating with global business development, pre-sales, product management, compliance & legal, implementation, and engineering teams, you will help shape the region's strategy and sales processes.

Your Mission

  • Develop and close a strong pipeline of banking partnerships.
  • Communicate strategy and partnership growth plans for the region.
  • Refine sales processes, messaging, pricing strategies and go-to-market efforts.
  • Collaborate with Product teams to provide feedback and improve customer experience.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience selling tech products (APIs and correspondent services) to banks or large enterprises in Europe.
  • Ability to lead discussions and support team pipeline efforts.
  • Strong analytical skills and data-driven approach to scope opportunities.
  • Experience in financial negotiations and a customer-first mindset.
  • Familiarity with Europe's regulatory landscape and international payment systems.

Desirable But Not Essential

  • Banking experience and proficiency in a second language (e.g., Romanian, Hungarian, Polish, Czech, Bulgarian).
