Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Photovoltaic Electrician Technician to join our expert team. In this role, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of various photovoltaic systems. Your expertise will ensure the optimal performance and longevity of our solar installations, contributing directly to our mission of delivering clean energy.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform the installation, wiring, and commissioning of photovoltaic solar panel systems on various sites (residential, commercial, industrial).
• Conduct routine maintenance, inspections, and preventative measures on existing PV installations.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues within solar arrays, inverters, and associated components.
• Ensure all installations comply with national electrical codes, safety regulations, and company standards.
• Utilize various hand and power tools safely and efficiently for system assembly and repair.
• Collaborate effectively with project managers, engineers, and other technicians to ensure project completion.
• Provide detailed documentation of work performed, including reports on system status and repairs.
• Adhere strictly to all health and safety protocols, particularly when working at heights or with electrical systems.
• Assist in the preparation of sites, including the layout and securing of mounting structures.
• Participate in ongoing training to stay updated with the latest PV technology and installation techniques.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as an electrician with a strong understanding of AC and DC electrical systems.
• Demonstrable experience with photovoltaic system installation, maintenance, or repair.
• Relevant electrician certifications (e.g., ANRE certification in Romania) are highly preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals.
• Proficiency in using electrical testing equipment (multimeters, clamp meters, etc.).
• Comfortable working at heights and in various weather conditions.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• A valid driver's license.
