About The UI/UX Designer Role

We are seeking a talented UI/UX Designer to join our team in a full-time, remote capacity, with a strong preference for candidates located in or around Austin, TX. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience designing business-facing web applications, particularly those involving complex data and AI-driven workflows. In this role, you will craft intuitive, scalable user interfaces that facilitate AI automation, workflow orchestration, and analytical data visualization. Your work will involve creating foundational UI patterns, design systems, and adapting them to specific client needs, ensuring a balance between reusability and customization. You will collaborate closely with product managers, engineering teams, and delivery leads to deliver seamless, user-centric solutions that meet both business and technical requirements.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience designing business-facing, authenticated web applications
• Proficiency with data grids, tables, sorting, filtering, and visualization techniques
• Experience in designing multi-step workflows, process steps, and review queues
• Strong expertise in Figma, including components, variants, and structured design handoffs
• Knowledge of responsive design principles and building reusable component systems
• Understanding of human-in-the-loop and AI-assisted workflows
• Proficiency in prototyping or coding with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is a plus
• Experience with designing domain-specific analytical and geo-visualization tools
• Excellent collaboration skills with cross-functional teams including product, engineering, and delivery

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain scalable UI patterns and templates that can be reused across multiple clients and projects
• Translate complex business processes into intuitive, step-by-step user journeys
• Collaborate with product and platform teams to evolve and refine a shared design system
• Partner with delivery leads and engineers to customize designs and ensure seamless implementation
• Design interfaces that balance information density with usability, employing thoughtful hierarchy and progressive disclosure techniques
• Develop UX specifications and UI handoffs aligned with modern frontend development practices to facilitate cost-effective implementation
• Design human-in-the-loop interfaces for reviewing, correcting, and validating AI outputs, including conversational and hybrid UX
• Create dashboards for document processing, analytics, geo-visualization, and other business domains
• Ensure responsive, user-friendly designs that bring consumer-grade simplicity to enterprise web applications
