About the Software Developer Role
We are seeking a talented and motivated Software Developer to join our innovative team. In this role, you will have the unique opportunity to own entire product capabilities from conception through deployment, working on comprehensive features that directly impact our users and business outcomes. You will engage in full-stack development, utilizing technologies such as React, React Native, GraphQL, Ruby on Rails, Kotlin, and Postgres. Your responsibilities will extend beyond coding to shaping product strategy, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring high-quality deliverables. Qualifications
- Proven experience in full-stack software development
- Strong proficiency in React, React Native, and GraphQL
- Experience with backend technologies such as Ruby on Rails or Kotlin
- Solid understanding of database modeling, particularly with Postgres
- Ability to work independently and manage end-to-end project ownership
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities
- Experience operating in fast-paced, autonomous environments
- Curiosity about emerging technologies, including AI and machine learning
- Track record of building and shipping reliable, user-focused products
Responsibilities
- Own entire product features from problem definition to deployment, ensuring alignment with client impact and business goals
- Design, develop, and maintain UI components using React and React Native
- Create and optimize GraphQL APIs to facilitate seamless data flow
- Develop backend services leveraging Ruby on Rails or Kotlin, ensuring scalability and robustness
- Model and manage data schemas in Postgres, ensuring data integrity and performance
- Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and other engineers to translate vision into actionable solutions
- Participate in code reviews, testing, and deployment activities to uphold high-quality standards
- Identify and resolve technical challenges swiftly, maintaining system stability and security
- Stay current with industry trends and incorporate innovative technologies, including AI, into product development
