About The Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Quality Assurance Engineer II to join our Business Operations team. In this role, you will serve as the voice of quality throughout the product lifecycle, ensuring the delivery of high-impact solutions that support our Sales, Support, Finance, and Billing departments. Your primary responsibility will be to champion quality standards, develop comprehensive testing strategies, and drive automation initiatives that enhance our development processes. This position offers an excellent opportunity for a problem-solver with a passion for quality assurance and automation to contribute to a dynamic, innovative environment. The role is based in Lincoln, Nebraska, or Omaha, Nebraska, with flexible work arrangements to support work-life balance.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2+ years of professional software testing experience in fast-paced environments.
- Strong proficiency in designing and executing tests across the technology stack, including front-end UI validation and API testing.
- Hands-on experience with programming languages such as Python and Typescript.
- Experience with modern automation frameworks like Playwright and Selenium.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a curiosity-driven approach to identifying and resolving issues.
- Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a global team.
- Knowledge of SaaS environments or STEM-related fields is a plus.
- Exposure to AI tools, including large language models, coding assistants, or test data generators, is desirable.

Responsibilities
- Promote a quality-first mindset by actively participating in scrum ceremonies and advocating for quality considerations at every stage of development.
- Develop and maintain detailed test plans, cases, and scripts to ensure comprehensive coverage of features and functionalities.
- Leverage data analytics to inform testing strategies and improve product quality outcomes.
- Identify opportunities to automate testing processes, making informed decisions on what to automate and when to implement automation solutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot issues, analyze root causes, and implement effective solutions.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by sharing best practices and adopting new testing methodologies.
- Ensure that all testing activities align with project timelines and quality standards, supporting timely delivery of high-quality products.
- Maintain documentation of testing procedures, results, and automation scripts for transparency and future reference.
