About The Role
The Quality Assurance Analyst role is a remote position designed to support Aflac’s commitment to quality and compliance within its operational processes. The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring quality indicators, analyzing operational data, and ensuring adherence to regulatory standards, including state and federal FMLA regulations. This position requires a proactive approach to process improvement, investigation of data practices, and collaboration with internal teams to optimize performance. Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Healthcare, Business Administration, or a related field
- Three or more years of relevant experience in healthcare, compliance, or process improvement
- Knowledge of state and federal FMLA regulations
- Knowledge of medical disability management (preferred)
- Strong understanding of regulatory compliance standards
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with internal teams and leadership
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and investigative skills
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Ability to adapt and learn in a fast-paced environment
Responsibilities
- Monitor quality indicators proactively and implement strategies to reduce deficiencies
- Identify and address process gaps within service channels, recommending improvements for enhanced performance
- Prepare and present periodic reports on quality volumes and operational metrics
- Support project delivery by providing technical process expertise to align initiatives with established standards
- Conduct investigations and reviews of data practices to identify compliance issues and recommend corrective actions
- Collect and analyze operational data to support departmental decision-making
- Evaluate project deliverables and processes to identify opportunities for continuous improvement
- Review and interpret complex information, providing guidance to internal clients on compliance and procedural matters
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of activities to ensure audit readiness and process standardization
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support organizational goals and compliance initiatives
- Perform other related duties as assigned to support the department’s objectives
