About the Role

Wiraa is seeking a highly motivated QA Engineer to join our remote team in North America. This role requires a dynamic individual with a solid foundation in manual testing, as well as a passion for automation and AI-driven quality assurance. As a QA Engineer, you will ensure the reliability and excellence of our platform by executing meticulous manual tests and pioneering automation and AI tools.

Qualifications

  • 2-5 years of manual and automated QA experience
  • Experience with test management tools such as Zephyr or TestRail
  • Proficiency with automation frameworks like Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright
  • Familiarity with scripting languages like Python or JavaScript
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines including Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI
  • Strong interest in exploring AI/ML tools for QA
  • Analytical mindset with keen attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Responsibilities

  • Perform manual QA testing by reviewing Jira user stories and acceptance criteria.
  • Execute functional, regression, and exploratory testing.
  • Document defects in Jira and collaborate with stakeholders for resolution.
  • Develop and automate repetitive test cases using automation frameworks.
  • Research and implement AI-powered QA tools for various testing tasks.
  • Identify opportunities to replace manual testing with automation solutions.
  • Collaborate closely with developers and product managers for early issue detection.
  • Share insights and QA metrics to support continuous improvement.
