About the Role

The HR Business Partner will serve as a strategic advisor and central point of contact for school leaders and staff across Pearson Virtual Schools. In this fully remote role, you will provide expert guidance in workforce planning, employee relations, leadership coaching, and HR strategy, while enhancing employee engagement and aligning HR practices with organizational goals.

Responsibilities

  • Build strategic partnerships with school leaders to understand HR needs.
  • Collaborate with HR teams to implement initiatives aligned with goals.
  • Analyze HR data to identify trends and recommend improvements.
  • Advise on conflict resolution, performance management, and communication strategies.
  • Coordinate with legal counsel and school boards to ensure compliance.
  • Monitor turnover and develop retention strategies for a positive work environment.
  • Manage performance assessments and employee development initiatives.
  • Support leadership development through coaching, feedback, and succession planning.
  • Assist with staffing, recruitment, and promotion strategies.
  • Participate in candidate interview processes and evaluations.

Qualifications

  • 1–2 years of relevant HR experience in employee relations, workforce planning, or leadership development.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • High proficiency with HRIS systems, MS Office Suite, and relevant software.
  • High emotional intelligence with exceptional interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building abilities.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret data for strategic actions.
