About The Role
As a Graphic & Web Designer at CAP, you will play a key role in creating compelling visual content that enhances the organization’s internal and external communications. Your responsibilities will include designing engaging digital and print materials, managing the creative process from concept to completion, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure brand consistency. You will develop a wide range of assets such as websites, infographics, videos, promotional materials, posters, and organizational displays. The role requires a creative professional capable of translating strategic objectives into visually appealing designs that support CAP’s mission and objectives. You will also be responsible for managing multiple projects simultaneously, sourcing images, and ensuring all designs meet quality standards and brand guidelines. Additionally, you will oversee web design and optimization, prepare layouts for publications, and coordinate with vendors and external organizations for project execution.
Qualifications
- Associate's degree or higher in Fine Art Design, Marketing, or a related discipline
- 5+ years of professional experience in commercial graphic and web design, preferably within a marketing or creative agency environment
- Proficiency with Adobe Creative Cloud Suite, including Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, and Animate
- Strong understanding of current design software, technology, and trends
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to convey ideas effectively on social media platforms
- Valid Arizona driver’s license with a good driving record (or ability to obtain one within 30 days if hired from outside Arizona)
Responsibilities
- Manage the entire creative process from concept development to final execution, collaborating closely with internal teams
- Ensure all visual communications adhere to brand standards and messaging consistency across platforms
- Create diverse visual content supporting CAP’s mission, including websites, infographics, videos, and print collateral
- Source, edit, and prepare images for digital and print use, ensuring proper color and resolution
- Design, build, and optimize internal and external websites for usability and visual appeal
- Prepare layouts, artwork, and formatting for publications such as guidebooks, flyers, posters, and reports
- Coordinate with external vendors and organizations for paid placements and production
- Manage project budgets, track expenditures, and analyze costs associated with design projects
- Handle copyright, reprint permissions, and licensing processes
- Support multimedia projects by editing videos and creating animations using tools like Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects (preferred but not mandatory)
- Maintain a high level of creativity, flexibility, and receptiveness to constructive feedback
