About The Role: Data Entry Specialist

The Data Entry Specialist at Lakeshirts plays a crucial role in supporting both internal teams and external customers through accurate and organized data management. This position involves precisely entering and maintaining order information, meticulously researching account activities, efficiently troubleshooting issues, and providing essential data-related support to various departments. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong computer skills, exceptional attention to detail, and excellent communication abilities, serving as a reliable point of contact for order processing, licensing approvals, and account support. Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent; some college coursework preferred
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word
  • Internet experience with strong computer skills
  • Typing speed of 45+ words per minute
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy
  • Reliable, responsible, and flexible with the ability to follow instructions
  • Ability to handle multiple interruptions and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to analyze data using Excel tools such as filters, pivot tables, and formulas
  • Ability to work well independently and as part of a team

Responsibilities

  • Accurately enter and process customer orders into internal systems
  • Research and resolve account and order activity issues promptly
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of product designs, pricing, and program information
  • Monitor and communicate updates on product changes, promotions, and licensing requirements
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for order issues from sales representatives and internal teams
  • Provide backup support to other departmental functions as needed
  • Manage art approval emails, routing approvals to the appropriate artists or representatives
  • Support order submissions and ensure compliance with licensing and approval processes
  • Troubleshoot order discrepancies and communicate solutions effectively
  • Generate Excel reports to identify bottlenecks or issues in order processing
  • Assist in maintaining accurate licensing and approval records
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support team operations and workflow efficiency
