About The Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Data Entry Specialist to join our Finance Team. This role is vital to our operations, primarily responsible for managing all aspects of consumer billing. The successful candidate will handle updating consumer databases with authorization information, working collaboratively with vendors to resolve billing issues, and ensuring accurate posting of charges to consumer accounts. Additional responsibilities include billing consumers for monthly copays, processing checks, and providing administrative support such as invoice mailing and report generation. This position offers a hybrid work schedule based in Waltham, with some remote work flexibility after onboarding, but in-office presence is required. The role demands strong interpersonal and analytical skills, with an emphasis on accuracy, organization, and teamwork.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field
- Minimum of 1-3 years of accounting or billing experience
- Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail
- Collaborative work style and excellent communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data entry tools
- Reliable transportation to commute to the office
Responsibilities
- Identify and resolve billing errors by collaborating with relevant parties
- Regularly update consumer records with authorization approvals
- Perform high-volume data entry to ensure accurate and current consumer information
- Work with vendors to resolve billing discrepancies and issues
- Post charges to consumer accounts and process monthly copay billing
- Handle calls related to billing inquiries and take checks for services rendered
- Provide administrative support including invoice mailing and monthly report generation
- Maintain compliance with organizational policies and ensure data integrity
