About The Role

Metas Solutions has an immediate opening for an experienced Public Health Data Analyst Subject Matter Expert to work remotely with potential onsite opportunities in Atlanta, GA. In this role, you will support public health programmatic, epidemiological, and scientific data analytics for a federal public health client's Data Office.

  • Analyze complex studies using advanced methodologies.
  • Review and co-author scientific publications and reports.
  • Consult on study design, data interpretation, and statistical modeling.
  • Develop and maintain analytical plans and data visualizations.
  • Apply machine learning techniques for public health analyses.

Qualifications

Master of Public Health (MPH) with a focus on Epidemiology and Data Analytics; minimum of 2+ years supporting federal government or related public health roles; proficiency in data wrangling and analysis using Python, R, or SQL; experience with Microsoft Azure cloud platform and Databricks (preferred); strong knowledge of big data analysis in public health; and hands-on experience with machine learning, data mining, statistical analysis, and data visualization tools such as PowerBI.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and analyze large datasets utilizing Python, SQL, or R.
  • Support federal client clearance processes for scientific publications.
  • Conduct exploratory analyses of pharmacy, hospital, and healthcare claims data.
  • Provide technical consultation and review peer-report analyses.
  • Develop dashboards and visual summaries for clear findings presentation.
