About The Role
We are seeking a talented Data Analyst, Product to join our Product team. In this role, you will work closely with product managers and engineering teams to analyze user engagement, identify trends, and generate insights that directly influence product development and strategy. Your primary responsibilities will include digging into usage data, designing and running experiments, and creating comprehensive reports that help stakeholders understand customer interactions with W&B. Your analyses will be instrumental in guiding product enhancements and identifying new opportunities for growth. This position offers a unique opportunity to be embedded within a dynamic team, leveraging data to solve complex problems and drive impactful decisions in a fast-growing organization dedicated to advancing AI technology.
Qualifications
- Strong proficiency in SQL and Python, with experience handling large, event-driven datasets
- Experience with analytical and statistical techniques for data analysis, testing, and causal inference
- Knowledge of common analytics concepts such as funnels, retention, cohort analysis, and experiment design
- Ability to collaborate effectively with product managers and engineers, translating questions into structured analyses
- Proven experience in writing clean, maintainable code and documenting analyses clearly
- Familiarity with tools such as dbt, Hex, and experimentation platforms is a plus
- Curiosity about machine learning workflows and terminology, with either theoretical or practical understanding
- Excellent stakeholder management skills and a proactive approach to identifying opportunities for process improvements
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of projects, demonstrating initiative and problem-solving skills
Responsibilities
- Analyze user behavior and engagement metrics to identify patterns and insights
- Design, implement, and evaluate A/B experiments to test product hypotheses
- Create and maintain comprehensive reports and dashboards for product teams and stakeholders
- Collaborate with product managers and engineers to translate business questions into actionable data analyses
- Develop and document analytical processes, ensuring clarity and reproducibility of work
- Identify opportunities to optimize product features based on data-driven insights
- Partner with cross-functional teams to improve data collection, quality, and analysis methodologies
- Stay current with industry best practices and emerging trends in data analysis and machine learning
