About The Role

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Data Analyst, Product to join our Product team. In this role, you will work closely with product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to analyze user engagement and product performance. Your primary responsibility will be to interpret complex data sets, identify trends, and generate actionable insights that influence product development and strategic decision-making. You will design and run experiments, develop comprehensive reports, and present findings in a clear and accessible manner. Your analyses will directly impact the direction of our products, helping us better understand customer behavior, optimize features, and improve overall user experience. This role offers a unique opportunity to be embedded within a dynamic team at the forefront of AI innovation, contributing to products that serve a global community of AI researchers and practitioners.

Qualifications

  • Strong proficiency in SQL and Python for data analysis and scripting
  • Experience working with large, event-driven datasets
  • Knowledge of analytical and statistical techniques, including hypothesis testing and causal inference
  • Familiarity with analytics concepts such as funnels, retention, cohort analysis, and experiment design
  • Ability to translate complex data findings into clear, actionable insights
  • Experience with data modeling and transformation tools such as dbt
  • Experience with experimentation platforms and tools like Hex is a plus
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of explaining technical findings to non-technical stakeholders
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and proactively identify process improvements
  • Strong stakeholder management skills and a customer-centric mindset
  • Interest or background in machine learning workflows and terminology is desirable

Responsibilities

  • Analyze user engagement data to identify patterns, trends, and areas for improvement
  • Design and run A/B tests to evaluate new features and product changes
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive reports and dashboards for product teams
  • Collaborate with product managers and engineers to translate questions into structured analyses
  • Document analytical processes and ensure reproducibility of findings
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to understand data needs and deliver insights
  • Identify opportunities to optimize product features based on data-driven insights
  • Stay updated with industry best practices in data analysis and experimentation
  • Support ongoing data quality initiatives and ensure data integrity
  • Contribute to the development of scalable data analysis workflows and tools

Competitive base salary with a target total cash compensation ranging from $139,000 to $204,000, depending on experience and location
