About The Role

Keeper Security is seeking a highly skilled Data Analyst to join the AI & Threat Analytics team. This role focuses on supporting the development of KeeperAI Guardian, an AWS Neptune-based knowledge graph designed for behavioral threat detection and analysis. The Data Analyst will serve as a crucial link between raw graph data and actionable cybersecurity insights. You will work directly with complex graph databases, writing advanced Gremlin queries to extract meaningful insights, validate entity relationships, and identify behavioral patterns within security telemetry data.

Your analysis will underpin machine learning models and threat research efforts, aiding in anomaly detection, threat classification, and behavioral risk scoring. This position offers the flexibility of a fully remote work environment, with the possibility of a hybrid schedule for candidates located in El Dorado Hills, CA or Chicago, IL. Qualifications

• 2-4+ years of experience in data analysis, data operations, or graph data management within a technical environment
• Proficiency in Python, including libraries such as Pandas and NumPy, for data manipulation and analysis
• Hands-on experience writing and optimizing Gremlin queries for graph traversal
• Experience working with graph databases such as AWS Neptune, Neo4j, TigerGraph, or similar platforms
• Strong understanding of data modeling, entity-relationship design, and graph traversal logic
• Experience developing complex data pipelines in Python-based environments
• Working knowledge of SQL for supporting data analysis tasks
• Excellent analytical reasoning skills and the ability to communicate technical findings effectively to diverse audiences
• Familiarity with cloud platforms, particularly AWS
• Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
• U.S. Person status required due to FedRAMP compliance

Responsibilities

• Query and analyze complex graph data stored in AWS Neptune using Gremlin
• Develop and maintain Python scripts for data extraction, cleaning, transformation, and exploratory analysis
• Perform data validation, profiling, and consistency checks across multiple data sources and entity types
• Define and document entity relationships, schema mappings, and graph traversal patterns to ensure data integrity and usability
• Produce curated datasets to support machine learning model training, evaluation, and threat research initiatives
• Identify data quality issues, missing relationships, anomalous patterns, and signal gaps through exploratory data analysis
• Create and maintain reusable query templates, analysis notebooks, and data lineage documentation for transparency and reproducibility
• Collaborate with data engineers and machine learning engineers to refine data models and enhance graph structures for improved analysis
• Assist in establishing best practices for graph data management and analysis workflows
