About The Role: Data Analyst, Go-to-Market

We are seeking our first embedded Data Analyst, Go-to-Market to join Ashby’s dynamic Data Team. This pivotal role offers a unique opportunity to work closely with our Revenue Operations (RevOps) organization, supporting the entire Go-to-Market (GTM) function. As an embedded analyst, you will serve as a critical bridge between data and business, owning the full analytical lifecycle from raw data to actionable insights. You will be responsible for scoping business questions, building robust data assets, designing key metrics and dashboards, and communicating insights that influence strategic decision-making. This role requires fluency in SQL, strong analytical thinking, and the ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders across sales, marketing, and customer success teams. You will contribute to maturing our analytical operating system, refining data models, and fostering a data-driven culture throughout the organization. This is an excellent opportunity for a technically proficient Data Analyst, Go-to-Market who thrives in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment and enjoys ownership of end-to-end analytics projects.

Qualifications

  • Expertise in SQL-based data analysis and data warehousing
  • Strong analytical and statistical reasoning skills
  • Proficiency in data visualization tools such as Looker, Tableau, or similar
  • Experience building internal data products and dashboards
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Attention to detail, with the ability to identify data discrepancies and anticipate complications
  • Proficiency in Python, especially in data analysis and visualization domains
  • Interest in working directly with business stakeholders to identify analysis opportunities
  • Experience with data modeling, ideally with dbt or similar frameworks
  • Background in fast-growing startups or dynamic environments is preferred
  • Strong understanding of GTM motions in B2B SaaS, including sales, marketing, and customer success analytics
  • Curiosity and a pragmatic approach to problem-solving
  • Passion for improving data culture and operational data processes

Responsibilities

  • Partner with RevOps leadership and GTM teams to scope and prioritize analytical initiatives
  • Develop and maintain robust data assets, models, and pipelines to support business needs
  • Create and deliver dashboards, reports, and visualizations that communicate insights effectively
  • Conduct diagnostics on revenue funnels, sales efficiency, marketing cohort performance, and operational metrics
  • Identify opportunities for data-driven improvements and operational efficiencies
  • Collaborate with data engineering to ensure data quality, consistency, and scalability
  • Assist in refining analytical standards, modeling practices, and data governance
  • Work closely with stakeholders to translate business questions into technical solutions
  • Contribute to the evolution of Ashby’s analytical operating system and data culture
  • Present findings and insights clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences
