About The Role
The Culinary Administrative Assistant supports the culinary team by providing comprehensive administrative assistance and ensuring efficient operation of culinary services. This remote position based in Anchorage, Alaska, requires a highly organized individual who can manage multiple tasks, coordinate schedules, and facilitate communications among customers, vendors, and internal staff.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Knowledge of NSLP provided during training
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience with billing and accounting processes
- Intermediate proficiency in MS Office Suite
- Cash handling and scheduling abilities
- Ability to work rotating shifts including weekends
- Fluency in English
- Preferred: Basic understanding of culinary operations and previous administrative experience
Responsibilities
- Serve as primary contact for customers, vendors and culinary team.
- Manage calendars, schedule appointments and coordinate meetings.
- Handle incoming calls and emails with professional responses.
- Prepare, review, and maintain documents including reports and invoices.
- Assist with budgeting, expense tracking and financial record-keeping.
- Coordinate travel arrangements and monitor inventory records.
- Place orders with suppliers and assist in planning culinary events.
- Support staff supervision and additional departmental tasks as needed.
