About The Role

We are seeking a skilled Content Designer/UX Writer to join our dynamic team. This role offers the opportunity to work remotely or from our offices in Pittsburgh, PA; Strongsville, OH; Dallas, TX; or Phoenix, AZ. As a Content Designer/UX Writer, you will be instrumental in shaping user experiences through compelling and clear content. You will lead content creation efforts, collaborate closely with designers, product managers, legal, and compliance teams, ensuring all content aligns with regulatory standards and best practices. Your expertise will enhance our digital solutions, particularly within the money movement space, by delivering personalized, educational, and engaging content that empowers users. The ideal candidate thrives in a highly collaborative environment, possesses excellent communication skills, and has a passion for user-centered design and language precision.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred; equivalent experience considered
• Previous experience in content design, product writing, or educational/instructional writing
• Experience with UX content design and UX writing
• Knowledge of digital content delivery and copywriting/editing
• Familiarity with regulated industries such as finance, healthcare, or legal compliance
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
• Understanding of industry regulations, governance, and risk management
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively
• Experience conducting user research, including creating test plans, interview guides, and analysis reports
• Knowledge of design fundamentals and digital communication strategies

Responsibilities

• Lead content creation efforts, serving as a subject matter expert and working closely with design teams to enhance product usability
• Identify user problems and develop creative content solutions that educate, inform, and empower users
• Collaborate with other writers to establish and maintain consistent language, tone, and labeling guidelines across various touchpoints
• Conduct user research through test plans, interviews, and analysis to inform content strategies
• Partner with product managers and legal teams to ensure content complies with legal, risk, and regulatory standards
• Help define and shape the role of content within the overall design process
• Review and revise content based on user feedback, testing, and evolving project needs
• Maintain awareness of industry best practices and emerging trends in UX content design
