About The Role: Business Data Analyst

The Business Data Analyst position is a fully remote opportunity designed to support our enterprise-level clients by providing critical data insights and operational support. The successful candidate will translate complex business functions into precise system requirements, develop comprehensive reports, and conduct strategic analyses to guide organizational decision-making. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to optimize business processes, maintain data systems, and deliver actionable intelligence. The Business Data Analyst will serve as a key point of contact for client service, ensuring high-quality support and proactive issue resolution. Candidates should possess strong analytical skills, technical proficiency in SaaS platforms, and excellent communication abilities to manage client relationships effectively. Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field or 3 years of experience in a Business Analyst capacity
• Legal authorization to work in the U.S. indefinitely (employer sponsorship not available)
• Strong analytical and reporting skills, including experience with data analysis tools and techniques
• Proficiency in developing and maintaining reports, dashboards, and data portals
• Experience with enterprise SaaS products and troubleshooting complex system issues
• Ability to analyze current practices and recommend system improvements
• Excellent communication and relationship management skills
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote environment
• Preferred: Master’s Degree in a relevant field, expertise in business intelligence, and strategic analysis

Responsibilities

• Plan and oversee enterprise-level support activities for designated clients, acting as the primary contact for service incident resolution and escalation management
• Generate ad hoc and regular data reports using system tools, database queries, and data warehouse scripts, integrating data from multiple sources to meet client needs
• Maintain and program report forms, dashboards, and information portals to ensure data accuracy and accessibility
• Document operational objectives by studying business functions, gathering information, and evaluating output requirements and formats
• Create workflow diagrams, study system capabilities, and write detailed specifications for new or modified processes
• Prepare technical reports by analyzing trends, interpreting research data, and developing business insights for strategic planning
• Identify operational problems and recommend controls, process improvements, and procedural modifications to enhance efficiency
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop long-term projections and integrated business analyses
• Support continuous improvement initiatives by evaluating current practices and designing effective system modifications
