About The Role
We are seeking an IT Business Analyst to join our Utility Program and Services Group, working remotely within Georgia (preferably based in Atlanta, GA). This role offers the flexibility of hybrid or fully remote work, with the requirement to travel to Atlanta, GA as needed. The Business Analyst will play a vital role in supporting the software development lifecycle, focusing on energy efficiency tracking and reporting tools. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, develop system documentation, and ensure the successful delivery of IT projects tailored to the energy and utility sectors. Your expertise will help enhance our clients' operational efficiency and technological capabilities, contributing to innovative solutions that make a difference.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Science, Math, IT, Computer Science, or related fields
- Minimum of 1+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, Data Analyst, or similar role within IT or software delivery
- Experience in requirements gathering, use case development, process flow diagrams, UI design, and system documentation
- Proficiency in MS Office suite, including Excel, Visio, Teams, and PowerPoint
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
Responsibilities
- Support all phases of the software development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, design, testing, and deployment of energy efficiency tracking and reporting tools
- Communicate regularly with team members to provide updates on project status and deliverables
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define system requirements and recommend optimal design solutions
- Generate detailed requirements specifications, use cases, process flow diagrams, UI designs, and other technical documentation
- Assist in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to ensure system functionality aligns with business needs
- Track and manage support requests, ensuring timely resolution and documentation
- Develop an understanding of client processes and identify opportunities for technological improvements
- Leverage knowledge of ICF’s IT systems to develop tailored solutions for clients
- Train end-users on system functionalities and troubleshoot issues as they arise
