About The Role
Convergint is seeking a full-time, enthusiastic, results-driven, and forward-thinking Administrative Assistant to join our dynamic team. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals who are passionate about providing world-class service and are eager to grow within a supportive organizational culture. As an Administrative Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting office operations, facilitating communication, and ensuring smooth daily functioning for colleagues both in the office and in the field. Your responsibilities will include managing schedules, making travel arrangements, handling correspondence, and assisting with various administrative and bookkeeping tasks. This position requires a proactive mindset, strong organizational skills, and a customer service orientation, with opportunities to develop professionally as Convergint continues to expand.
Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED equivalent
- 1-3 years of office management or administrative experience (preferred but not required)
- Experience in accounting, bookkeeping, or financial tasks (preferred but not required)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel and PowerPoint
- Experience with project management tools such as Smartsheets (preferred)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational and planning abilities
- Flexible, adaptable, detail-oriented, and self-motivated
- Customer service-oriented mindset
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive administrative support to colleagues in the office and field operations
- Answer incoming calls, manage correspondence, and handle scheduling of meetings and appointments
- Arrange travel, accommodations, and logistics for team members as needed
- Coordinate and support company events and special projects
- Assist with accounting and bookkeeping duties, including data entry and report preparation
- Analyze data, prepare reports, and maintain organized job files
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and recommend solutions
- Perform additional duties as assigned to support team objectives and operational efficiency
