Data Analyst

Role Purpose

The purpose of this Data Analyst role is to interpret data and transform it into actionable information, such as reports, dashboards, and interactive visualizations. This information will be used to identify opportunities for business improvement and influence strategic decisions. The role involves managing the technical scope of projects, gathering data from various sources, developing data management processes, and building client relationships to understand their requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Gather and interpret data from various sources including data warehouses, databases, and through data integration and modeling to identify patterns and trends.
• Develop and maintain record management processes and policies.
• Build and maintain relationships with clients, understanding their requirements and providing them with sales data, proposals, data insights, and account reviews.
• Identify opportunities for increased efficiency and automation of processes, and set up automated data processes.
• Identify, evaluate, and implement external services and tools to support data validation and cleansing.
• Produce and track key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Analyze data sets and provide adequate information by liaising with internal and external clients to fully understand data content.
• Design and conduct surveys and analyze survey data according to customer requirements.
• Analyze and interpret complex data sets relating to customer businesses and prepare reports for internal and external audiences using business analytics reporting tools.
• Create data dashboards, graphs, and visualizations to showcase business performance and provide sector and competitor benchmarking.
• Mine and analyze large datasets, draw valid inferences, and present them successfully to management using a reporting tool.
• Develop predictive models and share insights with clients as per their requirements.
