Temporary Law Student Recruiting Assistant
Winston & Strawn LLP is seeking a Temporary (Summer) Law Student Recruiting Assistant to support the Attorney Recruiting & Integration department in administering the summer associate program and coordinating entry-level recruitment efforts. This position is based in the Chicago office and requires full-time, in-office attendance five days per week from May through August. The hourly rate for this position is $25.00.

Duties and Responsibilities
- Assist with all aspects of the summer associate program and entry-level hiring process.
- Coordinate the Summer Associate Program, including orientation, training, social events, assignment tracking, and file preparation for multiple offices.
- Support calendar management for the summer program events and training.
- Accurately input and monitor evaluation information in the recruitment database.
- Diligently update candidate information and statuses within the recruitment database.
- Route necessary applicant information and data to appropriate Attorney Recruiting & Integration team members.
- Help update law student recruiting related data and materials.
- Prepare, update, and send interview schedules, greet candidates, solicit feedback, and prepare electronic interview files.
- Prepare surveys, maintain information in charts, and provide statistical hiring data to the Attorney Recruiting & Integration team.
- Assist in planning and coordinating in-person events and receptions.
- Schedule conference rooms and coordinate related services/materials for new associate onboarding and orientation.
- Process candidate and incoming associate expense reimbursements.
- Assist with GPA calculations for candidate files.
- Assist with special firm-wide projects and provide administrative support as needed.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree or active enrollment in undergraduate university required.
- At least one year of experience as an Administrative Assistant in a professional services environment preferred.
- Must be at least 21 years of age to apply.

- Technology savvy, resourceful, and strong PC skills including MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
- Experience working with an Applicant Tracking System preferred.
- Ability to quickly learn new technologies and processes while managing current responsibilities.
- Proficiency and experience with social media outlets such as LinkedIn preferred.
- High level of attention to detail and ability to prioritize.
- Ability to manage a high volume of work with accuracy and a strong sense of urgency.
