Role Description for Western Vocal and Piano Teacher

This is a remote teaching role for a Western Vocal and Piano Teacher. The teacher will be responsible for conducting online vocal and piano lessons for students of various skill levels, developing lesson plans, and customizing teaching methods to meet individual needs. Additional responsibilities include assessing student progress, providing constructive feedback, and fostering a positive and inspiring learning environment. The role also involves preparing students for performances, exams, or certifications.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Western Vocal techniques, Piano performance, and music theory knowledge
• Experience in lesson planning, student assessment, and providing constructive feedback
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage and motivate students
• Ability to use online teaching tools and platforms effectively
• Flexibility, patience, and adaptability to cater to diverse learning needs
• A degree or certification in Music, Vocal Performance, Piano, or related fields is preferred
• Previous teaching experience, especially in an online setting, is an advantage
• Passion for teaching and inspiring a love for music
