About the Role
The Manufacturing Operations Manager role is based in Chennai, India. You will lead planning and execution of hardware activities with contract manufacturers, ensuring smooth operations and delivery of new hardware for business operations. You will work in a dynamic, cross-functional team and may be required to work outside business hours during escalations.
What You’ll Do
- Lead manufacturing operations initiatives with contract manufacturers.
- Collaborate with quality, process, and testing teams for issue resolution.
- Drive new hardware initiatives and continuous improvement projects.
- Manage cross-regional teams and maintain strong communication.
- Be available for escalations including after hours or weekends.
What You’ll Need
- 8+ years in product development or manufacturing operations.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience in capacity management and scaling operations.
- Proven program management in a matrix organization.
- Continuous improvement mindset and ability to thrive under change.
- Willingness to travel 10-15%.
