Your Role as a Partner Success Manager
As a Partner Success Manager at Mantle, you will operate at the critical intersection of product management, project leadership, and business development. Your core responsibility will be to oversee the entire lifecycle of ecosystem product delivery, from initial conceptualization to final execution. A key part of this role involves negotiating strategic deals that significantly expand Mantle’s market reach and ensure partner success. This dynamic position requires extensive coordination across various internal teams, thorough market research, meticulous project management, and proactive engagement with external partners.
Key Responsibilities
- Product & Project Ownership: Lead the planning, execution, and successful delivery of essential ecosystem products and initiatives, ensuring timely completion and effective cross-functional team collaboration.
- Partner Engagement: Proactively identify, rigorously evaluate, and strategically negotiate with prospective partners, including prominent DeFi protocols, centralized exchanges, and competing blockchain networks, to foster Mantle’s continuous growth.
- Deal Execution: Manage the complete lifecycle of business development deals, from initial outreach and negotiation stages through to partner onboarding and successful integration, guaranteeing a smooth and effective delivery process.
- Market Intelligence: Conduct ongoing, in-depth research into the evolving blockchain landscape and leading DeFi protocols to uncover new opportunities and gather critical market insights.
- Stakeholder Management: Facilitate seamless collaboration across engineering, legal, and marketing departments to align on project requirements, delivery expectations, and critical timelines.
- Process Improvement: Develop and refine processes for partner integration and overall project delivery, aiming for rapid turnaround times and consistently high-quality outcomes.
- Reporting: Diligently track the progress of all partnership integrations and product launches, providing clear, concise updates and proactively communicating any potential risks to leadership.
Requirements for this Role
- Proven track record in operations, business development, or ecosystem/product management within a blockchain (chain), centralized exchange, or a top-tier DeFi protocol, with a reputation for delivering results rapidly.
- Demonstrated capability in full-cycle execution, encompassing everything from initial deal structuring and negotiation to comprehensive project management and final delivery.
- Exceptional organizational skills, enabling effective management of multiple concurrent projects in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
- Outstanding communication skills, vital for engaging both internal stakeholders and external partners, with the ability to clearly articulate complex technical concepts.
- Profound understanding of Ethereum Layer 2 solutions, various DeFi protocols, and the broader Web3 ecosystem.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, or a closely related field.
- Prior experience in Sales/CRM management is considered a valuable asset.
