About the Role
We are seeking a Freelance Information Technology Project Manager for a long-term remote contract. This role involves leading customer engagements and programs to ensure successful delivery within scope, time, budget, and quality expectations. You will manage and coordinate corporate, customer, and vendor resources to implement solutions that meet defined business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead project teams in the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), ensuring adherence to delivery frameworks and quality management best practices.
- Manage customer project delivery for medium to high complexity projects ($300k - $2.5M USD) in the Middle East across various verticals.
- Oversee revenue and delivery margins through effective change and risk management.
- Manage medium to high-risk engagements, addressing complexities, cultural challenges, scope creep, and stakeholder expectations.
- Provide reliable financial forecasts to management on a weekly and monthly basis.
- Identify and develop new business opportunities through up-selling and cross-selling.
- Collaborate with internal teams (account management, support, R&D, finance, etc.) to achieve business goals.
- Manage mid to upper-level client delivery relationships.
- Lead project teams, including task allocation, accountability for estimates and timesheets, and ensuring timely, quality task completion.
- Provide performance review input and identify development areas for team members.
- Leverage experience with Micro Focus / HPE Software ITOM, Observability, Service Management Automation, and Hybrid Cloud Management.
