Job Overview

The Lead Administrator role is for a Senior Infrastructure Engineer with a strong foundation in Active Directory along with hands-on experience in Windows and Linux environments on both on-premises and Azure cloud. This position focuses on infrastructure modernization with a unique blend of system administration and automation using tools such as Ansible.

Key Responsibilities

• Support and maintain Active Directory infrastructure including user/group management.
• Manage and troubleshoot Windows and Linux systems.
• Implement and maintain Azure cloud services.
• Build automation scripts using Ansible and similar tools.
• Participate in architecture discussions for cross-platform solutions.
• Collaborate with application teams, InfoSec and cloud/infra teams.
• Mentor junior team members and lead small project initiatives.

Required Skills & Experience

• Solid foundational experience with Active Directory, group policies and DNS.
• Expertise in Windows Server and Linux system management.
• Proven experience in infrastructure automation using Ansible.
• Proficiency in scripting (PowerShell, Bash, or Python).
• Understanding of networking, virtualization and storage fundamentals.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Git, CI/CD practices and Infrastructure as Code.
• Demonstrated leadership or mentoring track record.
• Strong communication, documentation, and stakeholder engagement skills.
