Prepared Foods Production Team Member

Overview

The Prepared Foods Production Team Member at Whole Foods Market performs all functions related to preparation, counter service, sanitation, and stocking of products while ensuring a positive company image through courteous, friendly, and efficient service.

Responsibilities

This role involves assisting with production, labeling, dating, initialing, covering, and rotating prepared foods. The team member helps maintain product quality to meet WFM guidelines, documents waste or spoilage, and follows recipes and measuring instructions.

• Assist in production and preparation for all venues.
• Ensure proper labeling, dating, and rotation of products.
• Maintain cleanliness in walk-ins, freezers, and work areas.
• Provide excellent customer service and handle inquiries.
• Follow standard procedures including sanitation and safety practices.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

Candidates must have thorough product knowledge, effective communication skills, time management, and a passion for natural foods. Ability to work as part of a team and follow set procedures is essential.

Physical Requirements & Working Conditions

The job requires physical stamina including lifting up to 50 pounds, standing/walking for 6-8 hours, and working in various temperature conditions such as freezers and hot environments. Flexibility in work schedule and proper use of tools like knives and pallet jacks is necessary.

Compensation & Benefits
