White Rock Medical Center, a 218-bed acute care hospital in East Dallas, is undergoing one of the most ambitious hospital transformations in the region. With new leadership at the helm, we are rearchitecting hospital operations to be operationally sound, financially disciplined, and deeply committed to the communities we serve. This role is a launchpad for future healthcare executives.

The Opportunity

This is a high-intensity, high-reward role operating directly under the CEO. You will take full ownership of strategic and operational initiatives, moving from strategy to hands-on technology implementation. You will work across IT, clinical, and administrative teams to rebuild hospital technology while ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.

What You’ll Do

• Develop and execute the hospital’s technology strategy aligned with organizational goals.
• Act as an internal CIO and drive innovative technology solutions.
• Partner with clinical, administrative, and IT teams to improve efficiency and outcomes.
• Oversee EMR system optimization and manage technology vendors including telehealth and AI-driven solutions.
• Lead and expand a small IT team and ensure system security and compliance.
• Implement pilot projects to improve operational efficiency.
• Develop and enforce departmental IT policies and procedures.

Who You Are

• 3-5 years of experience in healthcare IT leadership roles.
• Demonstrated success in managing technology projects from strategy to execution.
• Technologically fluent with strong analytical skills.
• A self-starter with a founder’s mentality who takes ownership.
• Aspiring to reach executive-level roles such as CIO, CTO, or CEO.

Location & Compensation

This is a full-time, on-site position in Dallas, TX. Compensation ranges from $100,000 to $150,000 based on experience.

Requirements

• 3-5 years of experience in healthcare IT leadership roles.
• Experience with EMR systems and hospital technology operations.
• Bachelor's Degree required; Master's Degree preferred.
