Position Summary

Under the direction of the Manager of Legal Assistants, the International Arbitration Legal Assistant supports the firm’s clients and case teams in a fast-paced environment. Reporting to attorneys, you will assist with legal research, document preparation, case file management, and other essential tasks to support cross-border legal work.

Duties and Accountabilities

  • Conduct legal and factual research using various resources.
  • Prepare and maintain case files, pleadings, and trial materials.
  • Support document production, exhibit preparation and scheduling.
  • Manage accurate time records and assist in e-discovery projects.

Qualifications

A four-year college degree with a minimum GPA of 3.5 is required, along with excellent writing, verbal communication, organizational skills, and proficiency with Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat. Internships or related work experience and foreign language skills are a plus.

Location & Reporting

This role is based in the Washington D.C. office and reports to the Manager of Legal Assistants.
