About Whale
At Whale, we're on a mission to turn organizational chaos into operational excellence. Our AI-powered platform transforms scattered tribal knowledge into scalable systems that capture processes, train employees in real-time, and deliver instant answers when needed. With over 1,000 customers, we are entering a new chapter of explosive growth, and we need a skilled GTM Engineer - Marketing Operations to help drive our success.
The Role
This is not your traditional marketing ops role. You will architect our go-to-market engine, building systems that find ideal customers, intelligently qualify leads, and guide them seamlessly from prospect to customer. Working at the intersection of data, automation, and growth strategy, you will use advanced AI tools to drastically reduce manual tasks.
What You'll Own
- GTM Systems & Automation: Build and maintain intelligent infrastructure powering customer acquisition.
- PLG-to-Sales Engine: Transform product usage signals into automated outbound workflows.
- Outbound Strategy: Design, test, and optimize data enrichment, messaging, and conversion cycles.
- Stack Integration: Connect and automate our GTM toolkit including CRM, enrichment, outreach, and AI tools.
- Data Quality & Governance: Maintain clean CRM data for unified operations.
- Tool Evaluation & Innovation: Test and implement new GTM automation and AI tools.
- Sales Enablement: Build scripts, playbooks, demo resources, and tools to empower sales.
- GTM Experiments: Run rapid tests across channels to optimize growth strategies.
You're a Fit If You…
- Have 2-4 years of experience in growth ops, sales ops, marketing ops, or RevOps in B2B SaaS.
- Are hands-on with CRMs (HubSpot), enrichment platforms (Clay, Clearbit, etc.), and outreach tools.
- Prioritize clean data and reliable systems with measurable outcomes.
- Possess a builder's DNA, using available tools to ship fast.
- Think AI-first, always questioning how to automate processes.
- Bridge teams by translating needs between Sales, Marketing, Product, and Growth.
- Excel in experimentation and iteration in ambiguous environments.
- Bonus: PLG experience, SQL/Python fundamentals, BI tools experience, and startup multi-hat roles.
What You'll Get
- Full health coverage via Alan.
- Access to all necessary tools without budget constraints.
- Flexible hybrid work arrangement (3 days in-office in our Ghent hub).
- Real autonomy to own paid acquisition and experiment with AI.
- Clear growth path with promotion opportunities from within.
- Opportunity to work with a high-performing international team.
- The chance to build from scratch the growth infrastructure of a scaling SaaS company.
- An ambitious, supportive, and caring company culture.
