About the role
As an Application Support Engineer at Westpac New Zealand, you will provide consulting and expert technical domain knowledge for Managed File Transfers. You will work on development, maintenance, support, configuration, observability, testing, implementation, and enhancements of system applications. You will also implement DevOps practices in the MFT application stack including automation of configuration, deployments, observability, and testing. Participation in an after-hours on call support roster is required.
What will you bring?
You will bring 5+ years’ experience in application configuration and support and previous work experience in an Application Management or Support environment. You will have a strong understanding of software/application development principles, lifecycle and models, and relevant application development concepts. You have hands-on knowledge of DevOps in Agile environments, excellent troubleshooting skills, and proven ability to build working relationships with both business and external suppliers.
